Effect of the Medium on Bacteriocin Production Among Strains of Streptococcus mutans

ABSTRACT

Bacteriocin production by Streptococcus mutans was shown to be influenced by the medium on which the strains were grown, and it is suggested that selected media might be useful in bacteriocin typing.
