Induction of Protoplasts of Schizosaccharomyces octosporus in a Defined Medium

ABSTRACT

Protoplasts of Schizosaccharomyces octosporus were formed in a defined medium consisting of yeast nitrogen base, adenine, glucose, MgSO4, and 2-deoxy-D-glucose.
