  • ↵a Glucose uptake was determined by growing DSMZ 10140 in LG broth to mid-log phase. Glucose uptake assays were performed in 0.05 M potassium phosphate buffer containing 5 mM NaCl, 1 mM glucose, and 30 mM competitor.
